Additionally, we DO NOT want to turn the series into a “rule nightmare” the intent of the series is to have fun and be competitive! So please do your part and don’t stretch the rules.

General Rules

The general rules will be covered at the driver’s meeting before each event.

We will be using “Live Wire” starts for all qualifiers which means that the drivers must be on the track and checked- in before the two minute clock expires and they can start at any time after the official race director starts the race. Once the race has started and a racer has logged the first lap any racer starting after that time will be at least one lap down.

“A” mains will be 30 minutes with a mandatory 2 pit stops.

“B” mains will be 15 minutes with a mandatory 1 pit stop.

All other mains will be 6 minutes.

All Main events will be “flag starts”

Note: If any vehicle has to be returned to the pits for repair or a restart that will be considered one mandatory stop.

Monster Truck

Scale - 1/10-1/8

Transmission - Must be multi speed gear reduction.

Diffs -  inside the transmission are allowed only.

Front and rear brakes allowed.

Engine - .12ci to .28c

Exhaust - Pipes must meet the 85 decibel limit and have no movable parts in them.

Minimum weight - .12ci to .20.9ci Small blocks: 7lbs. 6 oz.

.21 to .28 Big blocks: 4300 grams (~9.5 pounds)

Fuel Tanks  - Single fuel tanks only.

Arena Truck

Scale - 1/8

Any Monster Truck that does not meet the MONSTER TRUCK specifications may run in the Arena Truck Class.

Transmission/diff  - Single speed direct drive (1/8 buggy) style driveline only.

Engine - .18ci to .28ci

Exhaust- Pipes must meet the 85 decibel limit and have no movable parts in them.

Minimum weight - 7lbs. 6 oz. minimum weight

Maximum weight - for the safety of turn marshals 13 pounds 6 ounces

Bumpers - Bumpers MUST be installed and shall not extend more than 1" past the body on the front and rear (This is for marshal safety so the bumper material should be nonmetallic and have no sharp edges).

1/10 FUEL 2WD OFF-ROAD TRUCK

All trucks must be 2wd.

Maximum truck width - 13”

Truck wheel base - Minimum - 9” Maximum - 11.5”

Minimum Truck weight - 60 ounces (3 lbs. 12oz.)

Truck wheel diameter - Minimum-mounting bead - 2.175” Maximum mounting bead 2.25" Maximum overall - 2.46”

Truck tire width - Minimum - 2" Maximum - 2.125”

Minimum Truck tire diameter - 3.6”

Engine - .12 or .15 (3 port only) RTR Engine (The intent of this rule is to allow someone who bought a RTR to compete in the series without buying a new engine. DO NOT TRY TO ABUSE THIS RULE!)

Transmission - 1 speed only - viscous or slipper drivers are allowed

1/8 FUEL OFF-ROAD
