You asked for it, here it is! We will be heading to a couple new tracks this year, and a few racer favorites. All I can say is get those Goose Bumps ready, break out the BBQ, and lets have some fun!
The rules have been updated for 2014. For the most part there were no changes, just a lot of clarifications. Please read them; they apply to ALL Factory Tracks events.
I look forward to seeing you there.
5.7.2013 - UPDATE - FTMS 2013 Series
Final Class List for 2013 FTMS series.
2wd Stock Short Course
4wd Modified Buggy
2wd Modified Short Course
1/8 Electric Buggy
4x4 Short Course
Our schedule is settled, we still have 1 race as TBA - to be announced, but you can at least mark your calendars now. We have 2 new and exciting things for 2013...
1) Sportsman Buggy class - this class is essentially the same as Mod Buggy except that the top 10 mod buggy racers from the last two FTMS series are not eligible to run. Basically we are trying to create a class for new champions to emerge.
2) 2 day format. Due to the staggering number of entries we are moving to a 2 day race format. Saturday from 8AM to 12:30 PM will be open practice. We will run 2 qualifiers starting at 1PM Saturday. Qualifying should be done by 6 or 7. On Sunday at 9AM we will have the third qualifier followed by mains. We should be home on Sunday to be with the family for dinner! This will make the race day much shorter and guarantee we will have enough daylight for 3 qualifiers and mains. It will also help with foul weather, as we can move qualifiers and mains around as needed depending on the weather.
See you all at AMS for the first race on May 11th. Remember AMS will still be running their Friday night race so come out Friday and get the warmup race in!
Peace Out ~Deano
